Collection: Snap Bar Wax Melts

Snap bar wax melts are a perfect way to scent your favorite spaces without a flame.  We use 100 percent soy wax from soybeans grown in the USA in all of our snap bars as well as premium phthalate-free fragrance oils.  Our plant-based cello wrappers and paper labels are compatible with home composting.

How to Use a Wax Melt

Just a few pieces of the snap bar wax melt is enough to scent your home for 8-12 hours if not longer. Its'stime to replenish the wax melt when the scent isn't as strong as you would like.

The spent wax melt can be discarded, or you can re-use it. Here are a few suggestions to re-use your spent wax melts:

  • Camping Fire Starters - there are several ways to do this, but the most basic is to start with a cardboard egg carton and place a wad of dryer lint or discarded dry paper towels into the empty egg carton cells. Melt the spent wax and carefully pour over the dryer lint/paper towels. When its time to start your outdoor campfire, just break off one or two egg carton cells to get the kindling started.

  • Maintain Zippers - rub a little bit of wax onto zippers that tend to stick, then run the zipper up and down a few times to work the wax into the zipper teeth. The wax acts as a lubricant and will help that zipper zip like a superstar.

  • Sachet Bag - Spent wax melts that still have an aroma can be repurposed as sachets to scent your lingerie drawer or placed in between linens to scent your towels, sheets, and blankets. Just place the spent wax in a paper envelope or a sock without a mate.
