The Inspiration: Jellied cranberry sauce was a staple on our Thanksgiving table when I was kid.  It's still a table stable now that I have my own family; however, we are a house divided about cranberry sauce.  As a teen, I discovered fresh cranberry sauce, and its something I still love to make.  My husband and daughter are the holdouts for the canned sauce.  To broker peace, we enjoy both fresh and canned cranberry sauce for our holiday feasts.
