We craft delightfully nostalgic and sustainable personal care and home fragrance goods with environmentally friendly business practices in mind. Read more about these practices below and on our About Us page.

Here's what we mean:

  • We purchase carbon offsets from ClimeCo to reduce our environmental footprint from shipping the goods and supplies we use to create our products as well as the emissions from transporting our finished goods to customers - see the bottom of this page for our certificates.
  • We donate to The Trevor Project because we believe every child needs love and support.
  • We use ground shipping for our free shipping option and for ordering goods and materials.
  • We don't use palm or beeswax in our products.
  • We select packaging that can be reused/upcycled, or that is accepted by most curbside recycling programs. 
  • We use goods and materials that do not contain endrocrine disruptors and known carcinogens.
  • We avoid using single use plastics in our handmade goods and packaging. 
  • We purchase supplies that are sustainably harvested, like our rattan reeds and cork lids and stoppers.
  • We buy in bulk to reduce the number of shipments made for our goods and supplies.
  • We preferentially work with vendors who have a clear Sustainability Statement posted online; who support and promote Diversity & Inclusion initiatives; and who are Carbon Neutral
  • We have a vessel return program to return usable candle jars in exchange for a discount on a future candle purchase.
  • We seek out supplies that incorporate recycled materials, like our signature 9.5oz Spanish glass candle jars made from 100 percent recycled glass and retail packaging.
  • We use dedicated fabrics over disposable paper towels for cleaning and sanitizing glassware and surfaces.
  • Since opening for business in 2022, we have purchased 8 tonnes of CO2 emission offsets, with our funds dedicated to projects that focus on reforestation and avoiding deforestation.  Visit ClimeCo.com or Carbonfund.org for more information about carbon offsets.
